Driving too fast on Icy roads caused fatality on Moscow-Pullman Highway

PULLMAN, WA - New information Tuesday night about the two-car collision that killed a woman on the Moscow-Pullman Highway Monday afternoon.

According to Washington State Patrol Trooper Courtney Shawley, 31-year-old Ruth Leritte of St. John was traveling westbound on Highway 270 at around 4:00 p.m. when she lost control of her SUV on the icy road. Leritte's vehicle drifted into the oncoming lane and was T-boned by an eastbound SUV. She was pronounced dead at the scene
